Windows Vista

First and foremost : DON’T switch to Vista unless you’re forced to ... You will probably won’t find the driver for your sound/midi hardware ( beside the sound device on your motherboard...) I don’t know what the Developer Relation Group is doing but it looks like the forgot to talk to the HIVs ...

Second : I tried to install the freeware versions and it works. You NEED to have administrator privileges to do so , and it will keep complaining about a missing/uninstalled font file... BUT it works.

I will test the entire (existing) software range and will keep you posted on the How To (use my software when I made the mistake to believe in TV ads and upgraded my OS to Vista...) section...

I migrated the source tree to a Windows Vista compatible environment (VisualStudio 2005) , and the MS compiler itself crashes on Vista ( when the same compile works fine on XP...) not to mention the tons of changes I had to make in the code due to changes in the support of C++ templates they made !!! But I’ll keep on working on that : for you!
