The Quartz Studio Pro version for Dsp Factory has been especially designed in order to ease use of this piece of hardware by automatically configuring the card internal connections |
This makes the device ready to be used right away to record and play up to 16 channels (tracks) of PCM audio without having to think about complex routing problems before starting to work (which may arise very easily provided the great number of features of the Dsp Factory). |
Management of the Dsp Factory is fully integrated into the program. It's like if the program had been made around the Dsp Factory and not as an additional control panel disconnected from the audio recorder... |
Two instances of the program can be run at the same time in order to manage two cards in the same machine extending the number of channels to 32. |
If required, the program may also be used as a simple Dsp Factory control panel, leaving the inputs and outputs free to be used by other programs. |
It features 16 tracks (up to 32 tracks using two program instances at a time) and all the basic requirements needed to easily record and mix audio as well as managing the Dsp Factory features are there : |

Quartz Studio Pro basically looks like a simple mixing console on which you can easily set volumes, pans, effects, and so on with a few mouse clicks. Track volumes, pans and mutes as well as master levels and Auxilliary Send levels can be automated. |

Recording is quite simple. You just have to switch one or more tracks to "record-ready", hit the "record" button and the program will record the signal at the inputs of your soundcard(s) between the left and right previously defined locator positions. |

Using Midi Time Code, Quartz Studio can easily be synchronized to external devices as Master or Slave. It can be also synchronized to Midi files, Video files (which can be very convenient to create soundtracks for a video) and even to standard CDs. |
Configuration and Keyboard Shortcuts are fully user-definable. |

Want to work with remote musicians, composers or lyricists to help you achieve your music or audio projects? The genuine Quartz Studio multi-track compressed file format and the DSP Virtual Studios will allow you to do it! |
