Quartz Studio Pro basically looks like a simple mixing console on which you can easily set volumes, pans, effects, and so on with a few mouse clicks. Track volumes, pans and mutes as well as master levels and Auxilliary Send levels can be automated.

You can attach a chain of up to 16 effect plug-ins per track, like reverb, chorus, noise gate......all processing in real-time.
Plug-ins recognized by the program are proprietary plug-ins as well as DirectX™ plug-ins

Recording is quite simple. You just have to switch one or more tracks to "record-ready", hit the "record" button and the program will record the signal at the inputs of your soundcard(s) between the left and right previously defined locator positions.

A genuine "spacialization" window also allows synchronized modification of volume and pan at once.

A waveform editing window allows viewing and direct editing of the track contents. Here you can place locators for loops or for punch In/Out recording methods as well as sound part selection for copy, paste, erase, optimization, and so on.

User-definable "Markers" allows you to easily browse through a mix.

Auxilliary buses allows use of shared effect plug-ins between tracks as well as of sub-mixes for monitoring purposes.

Using Midi Time Code, Quartz Studio can easily be synchronized to external devices as Master or Slave. It can be also synchronized to Midi files, Video files (which can be very convenient to create soundtracks for a video) and even to standard CDs.

Configuration and Keyboard Shortcuts are fully user-definable.
