Quartz Studio basically looks like a simple mixing console on which you can easily set volumes, pans, effects, and so on with a few mouse clicks. Track volumes, pans and mutes as well as master levels can be automated. |

Recording is quite simple. You just have to switch one or more tracks to "record-ready", hit the "record" button and the program will record the signal at the inputs of your soundcard(s) between the left and right, previously defined, locator positions. |

A waveform editing window allows viewing and direct editing of the track contents. Here you can place locators for loops or for punch In/Out recording methods as well as sound part selection for copy, paste, erase, optimization, and so on. |

Using Midi Time Code, Quartz Studio can easily synchronize external devices. It can be also synchronized to Midi files, Video files (which can be very convenient to create soundtracks for a video) and even to standard CDs. |
